prop rotation

Post by BobCT »

I dinged my prop and looking for a spare. I see a prop listed as LH and I need it for my starboard side which is the standard rotation side (clockwise).

I can eyeball it from a pic but can't tell if the which side of the prop is which.

Is a LH the correct one?

Sherman, did you ever change the cup on your four blades? I might just do that upgrade and have the 3 blades as a spare set.

I'm looking for one or both for a mid cabin if anyone is selling. Current props are 16 x 17, 3 blade nibrals, 1.25" shaft.

The standard is RH rotation for the starboard side; most likely what you have but there are exceptions to that rule depending on application.

I do have a spare set of props for my Tri cabin I may be interested in selling for the right price. They came with the boat. Let me know if you are interested.
