mid cabin props - 16 or 17" diameter from the factory?

Post by BobCT »

Do any of you guys know what came with the mid cabin originally? I have always referred to my props as "16x17's" because that's the way it was written on my survey.

I just spoke to Sherman, and he thinks they were 17x16's so it might be transposed numbers. He had 17x17's before his upgrade to 4 blades and I'm going to do the same.

Save me a dive under :)

Update - I just found my receipt from my prop shop and they had them listed as 16x17's as well. No wonder they seem so small.

don't forget the mid cabin has a different ratio transmission and spins smaller props faster than the express curiser.
