I am naming my boat "The Phoenix" for reasons that you will become more familiar with. But it is a labor of love, unfotunately on weather hold due to this blast furnace in the Dallas area as well as a creaky old back which I can work around without the heat.

Good Luck

Well she is here!! Spent 6 hours cleaning her- came out nice. Gonna work from the stern forward sanding - fixing - replacing and painting. The engine is a mess I get a click when I turn the key and that is about it- trying to get a mechanic to check it out - rebuild is likely.

Running total: $400 boat stands and keel stand
160 battery and spray bottom paint for trim tabs

The size of the engine and boat surprised me the bilge is also filled with sludge any advice to clean that up is appreciated.

Thanks guys
Bruce
