Type of Trojan

Post by see sea »

I have really enjoyed the forum. And has been a big help on working on my Trojan. I have been a member since Feb but haven't really posted anything. I am trying to figure out what model my Trojan is. It is 1978 and a 30 footer.
If some of you veterans of the forum could look at my profile pic and tell me I would really appreciate it. Thanks so much.

Welcome aboard.

Like the light blue color on the hull. I'm not that familiar with all of the models but I'm sure someone here will be able to identify it.

Thanks so much. A friend and I painted her. I was going with the classic Outer Banks charter boat look. And I love the Carolina Blue.

SeeSea, Looks like you have an f30 Sportfisher like mine. It's also called a 'Clean Machine'. If you look inside your closet door, just in from the main cabin door, you should see the original id numbers for the boat. It will start out with 300 for the f30 followed by four numbers, the first for the year built and the last three will be what number your boat was built for the year. Good Luck!!

Thanks Lawman. I was just reading the post about the fuel filter and saw your boat pic. I was going to tell you your Trojan looks very similar to mine. You have a beautiful boat. Do you have 318 Crysler's? Thank you for your help.

Yup! 318 Chryslers were pretty common, although i've seen them with Mercruiser set-ups as well. How long have had her?
