On Board Toilet Problem
Hey Everyone, I often tell people the only stupid question is the one you dont ask.
so here goes one, i was hesitant to ask...
My Toilet stopped flushing, at first i though the holding tank was full, so i had it pumped out. My fresh water tanks is also full. I checked for any loose wires/connections, all looks good.
Any reccomondations to what it could be?
Thanks,
Matt

How can you expect any valuable answer with so little information?
RU saying it works but nothing goes away.
RU saying it does not work.
What is make and what exactly is happening....
you push the button and no sound?
You push the button and you get sound?
Each of the above will demand a different area to look.... my suggestion is find someone in your marina with a similar head and they should be able to help you on where to look.... with so little information there is little we can say to help at this point.
Oh is the breaker on

To Michael's point, need to do some basic troubleshooting and provide more details. If its just that there is no noise when you push the button, could be :
1. no power getting to the switch (can you test for power?)
2. if you have power to the switch, could be motor burned out
3. if someone has put a lot of 'regular' toilet paper in it recently, or other non poopy or bio-degradable things, the pump could be jammed
Think also about when it was working and what happened then and/or since then (to figure out if it might be #3, or if you have changed some wiring elsewhere that might have killed the circuit to the head).
I have had a switch go bad on mine, and (unfortunately) also number 3 above..... not fun taking things apart to clean it out... The wiring for the head may actually run to the 'little black box' with the crossover solenoids between the engines, so if you have done any work around there you might have disconnected things without knowing.

I have the same problem on the same vesel... only one difference is that i get a click when trying to flush the aft head... not the fwd... and i found and checked the pump seems to be working so i trully hope that it isnt jammed full o gold as that would deff. suck... that or the connections need to be replaced, as the bige pump had to be rewired (all the cables just fell apart when i lifted the hatch)

Captainmaniac, I will have to take a look and see what we've got. The latest is now when you press the button there's just a click and nothing else. Macerator motor bad. The part number on it is 74001-2460, which means the head is most likely a Jabsco 37010-1090.
