how to get boat on trailer with no bow eye?

Post by tk416 »

Hi there...

Sorry for the noob questions, but I've tried searching to no avail...

I'm looking to trailer my f25 and it looks like I may have found a trailer, however I don't think I have a bow eye on mine for a winch to attach to. Any ideas or suggestions?

As well, If someone could give me the measurements of the bunks... I know FOofer has some pics and measurements but wasn't sure what I needed the top of the bunks to be? 30" from the ground or 36"

Thanks in advance...

1) Put the trailer in about halfway (with a drive rin the truck),
2) Pull the boat onto the trailer and leave in gear once aligned.
3) Have your driver slowly back down (under you signals) until the boat is on all the way.
4) Leave th boat in forward gear (idle) to hold it on, and have others (not you - stay at the helm!) tie the boat down so that it can't slide back.

I have 4 trailer boats now, and never use the winch on any of them, except for final attachment).

Good luck !
