1989 F36

Post by tucker99 »

Gents,
Considering this boat. Coming off a 36' express cruiser and I need a bridge. What are some of the strenghs and weakness over the older F36? Will I have fuel tank issues? Does it still have glass over wood on the fore deck? It's powered with 454 Cruisaders. Are the hatches still wood? Window leaks?

Thanks Guys!

A 1989. This was the last year right? I'm checking it out today. Old to boats but new to this forum. I see a lot of sharp guys and really willing to share info. I'm willing to bet most guys have lived through any problems I may find. I wouldn't consider buying a Trojan without this forum. Tight knite group. I'm really concerned about spongy decks. Seems to be a cronic problem. I'll let you know.

Thanks

Spongy decks were a common proplem ( with more boats then trojans) but not all trojans had the proplem . my 77 F36 decks are still in great shape .
