New Tri-Cabin Owner
New owner here - actually she has been in the water 30 days. 1980 Hull number 72. Spent most of her life in NH - now here in Maine.
Have spent the past month fighting windo and windshield leaks - but I think I have got them all for now. Next rainstorm will test the aft cabin sliders to see if I have them sealed for good.
Many projects ahead - but most pressing needs will be to replace the failing fridge (roof hatch removal!), and doing a complete replacement of the two head systems. Also need to rebuild the entry hatch, recarpet the salon, add electronics, new A/C pump, etc. Will post progress as I work on these over time.
She is a great boat - small trip in the harbor. Engines just rebuilt and run great. Looking forward to advice and perhaps providing some insight as well.
We switched to this from a Bayliner - no comparison!

Oh God! Help Me too. 1976, Trojan Tri-Fly
Welcome!
Im also a newbee Tri-Cabin Owner Since May, Fixing.monitoring, changing, updating, timeing all systems, what does not work correctly is Not involved with the operation of the boat, What I do not know is still going to try to sink me and my friends but god will know we gave it our best shot. I have completely given my self to her, after honey-do's of course. " May your pleasures be many and all your problems be solveable at sea"
My local hobos and I took her out on the South Carolina Reefs,(old airport runway rip-rap, maybe 6mi of folly), caught our limit of Black Bass and a couple of Sand Sharks (they look like catfish, 6 feet long with wiskers,
BTW! this was my first trip on my own and She came back safely, after a
few lost moments and bumping my friends sailboat and a dock or two, with everyone yelling at me to keep my hands of the forking Wheel.
Respect and Love her, but learn to trust.
