Are there any water drains on velvet drive

I winterized my 318 engine today. Noticed there were a couple lines running from the trans to the front of the engine. Are they water lines or hydraulic lines? I drained the engine from 1 petcock on each side of the block (toward front of motor), and also drained the exhaust manifolds from a petcock on each one at the elbow. Then poured antifreeze into the hoses that feed the manifolds, thebcircukating pump, and the seawater pump. Am I missing anything? Is there any water to drain related to the trans?[/b]

they are hydraulic lines They run from the trans to the cooler . The cooler has water in it is in the engine raw water intake line . if you got the water out on the raw water system before and after the raw water pump then you have taken care on the cooler .

Plumbing antifreeze riiiiight? If you have a hot water tank with a heat exchanger running off engine raw water, you'll need to blow those lines out too. Pull off any hose that isn't going down hill and draining to the lowest point. You don't want any water trapped in a fitting or cooler etc.

Yes, I'm using marine antifreeze. I don't have a hot water system.
