Price to haul F30 15-20 miles.
Can anyone give an approximate price on how much someone would charge to haul my F30 to my house?
I have it on stands at a marina in Havre de Grace, $900 till the end of April.
I figured it might be about the same to have it hauled to my home 15-20 miles away, then haul it back in the spring. The marina will charge me $180 to launch it either way.
It sure would be nice to have it on my property so I could work on it!
I did find a local one and sent an email for a quote.

I used a web based bidding site (like ebay except relates to hauling stuff) it is USHIPIT.com and was very satisfied with the move. Boat was moved from Cleveland to Dallas, TX area.
You might check it out, although that would be a short haul.

Especially if you can be flexible on dates.
Hopefully you can hit someone coming out of there empty and you will be the beer money for their stop at the Dew Drop Lounge on the trip back.
Just check credentials and customer reviews. Also keep in mind that the first bids you get, will be close to retail. As you get closer to your date - the bids will come down - this is where you need the flexibility. Give a range of dates if you can.

Havre de Grace, Maryland?
you say only 15-20 miles
Have you looked around at some of the other boat owners who haul their boats out with a comparable sized boat? They may be able to loan you their trailer for a day at a minimal cost. Just a matter of hooking it up and moving it. Or they may even move it for you. Put up a few notices at the marinas in your area.
Won't know unless you try.

The tanks are there and they fit an f30 as I am now having two new tanks made I was trying to be helpful as both bob's tanks together were a third the cost of new ones, and, they would not fit in mine.
I have found that Bob is very helpful and forthcoming with free advice. I try and purchase most of my supplies from him when price is right, and he is a sponsor of this forumn.
Enough on the subject.
