another engine question

While on lunch I found this site "yes I have issues" anyway the price didnt tip me over here and am curious as to the two types of engines they offer. Being I have a 1979 f26 which engine would I need? This co. states $1495.00 One fella here was going to order one for me at the cost of a little over $3,000.00 with same warrant. any thoughts or suggestions.anyone ever hear of this company

oh sorry I presently have a removed from the boat 318 motor that has seized up rusted shut and blown out the soft plugs and am looking to replace this engine, was looking at this site comparinhttp://www.dougrussell.com/Products/index.cfm? ... ategory=6g that site

You link did not work , Doug russel has been around a long time Not sure where you came up with 1495 , there price for a long block is $2095 plus shiping .
you will need a lot more parts .most likey manafolds and risers Plus !
