Up on a pedestal

Post by bkwesq »

Does anyone know the height of pedestal I should get? I'm replacing the side mounted factory seats with pedestal seats.

Thanks!

I think that would depend on the type your going with...you height if you want a foot rest how thick the seat cushion is.....I replaced mine last year ordered one taller than the stock one and cut it to fit with a pipe cutter ....

How simple, i did not even think to measure the height of the stand that goes under the side mount seat.

Thanks!

It also depends on how tall you are. Apparently, the previous owner of my boat was a lot shorter than me! My seat was too high- had to look under the window frame. Ended up cutting four inches off the pedestal- use a pipe cutter.
