The Motor On My Dink

Post by Commissionpoint »

Dropped my 5hp Yamaha off today for some service. I figure I will be using it more now with the 'new' 32 coming in the spring. Its just been sitting in my garage these last 15 years or so. I thought it best to have it serviced before I go putting it back into regular use.

First thing I saw in the yard was an F-32. It was a bit of a surprise as there are only 2 or 3 around here that are white. Looked like it was well kept, though the hull was in need of a compounding and a good wax, when i ran my fingers down it I got a lot of chalky oxidation on my hands. Nothing a cpl hours with some paste and a buffer couldn't cure. When I went to go see what year it was there was a sign on the transom saying the vessel was for sale. Asking 23k. Its a 1978 boat. If anyone is interested in a nice clean fresh water F-32 sedan I would gladly get the number for you.
