im pulling the motors from my 36 thair twin merc 5.7s fwc 200 hrs with 1-1 velvit drives what do you think a fair asking price is

What year are they?
I may be interested, since I was planning a rebuild next year anyway.

i think 87 i do have the ser # someware thay run good start right up thay dont smoke thay go from idal to wot back to idal with no hesatation

I forgot to ask, is it 200hr on rebuild (or reconditioned)?

And whey are you pulling them? Diesel conversion?

I aplogize mr elevman if you posted this eariler in another thread but I missed it. What happened to your 36?

I was picturing a f series boat but now I am guessing is wood and too far gone?

:cry: Bummed to hear it's going to the chain saws. Can't it be donated to some one or some organization, like a high school shop class as a project?

yes its very sad shes a 36' 1972 sadan/sea voyager one of the last woodies its more of a helth isue now about 60-70% of the cabin area hull side is covered with black mold under the berth under the gunnels in the bildge and on the motor compartment bulkhead i cant in good conchence (sorry for the spelling errors )donate her to a school ive had a few people look her over and thay all said the same thing compleatly strip the hull bleach the stringers and keel witch is allso bowed up just forward of the bulkhead reply and replank thats too mutch work for me id wind up compleatly restorring her by the time it was finished if she ever got finished i have posted pics look a few pages back thay are still thair
