transducer hole plug

Post by BobCT »

Someone asked a while back about an option to plug an old transducer hole. Here's what you need, Airmar part numbers:

33-417 @$20.30 ea
33-414 is the blanking plug for the 33-417 housing @ $16.82 ea

If you have a 2" hole, this is a good, permanent option w/o doing any glass work. It's basically a mushroom thru hull which sits almost flush and a blanking plug which goes in the middle.

The blanking plug is the same one that replaces the tri-ducer in Airmar's bronze units.

Twas I that asked about hole plugs.

Actually I am going to take Paul the Prowlerfish advice, going to use one hole for AC condensing water and the other for a new Triducer for raymarine which is similiar to your suggestion, except will have the ducer in the hole.
