My dad says grandpa closed the store that afternoon. He says he can't ever remember his father taking a day off let alone closing the store. Aside from Pearl Harbor Day, Nov. 22, 1963 & Sept. 11, 2001 were great days of sadness for our nation in recent times.

In deed a sad day and one we should never forget . I will move this in a few days . I had a good friend that was a surviver of Pearl , Sadly he has passed some years back . Bob not only a good friend But he also was a Trojan Boater ,a wood one approx 26-28 foot , Gone but not forgotten .

Yes, we have a lot to be thankful for. One of the most important is the WWII veteran. My father-in-law landed on Utah Beach. After weeks of combat his unit was captured. He spent over 10 months as a POW doing forced labor. He escaped and is still with us today. My father saved by a broken arm would have also landed at Normandy. Yes we have a lot to be thankful for. THANK YOU ALL.
