My new Holly and Teak half inch plywood came in today and I want to know what kind of finish I should put on it. The orginial was that teak and rubber strip plywood and that stuff was over 500.00 a sheet, I was glad they only had two sheets of it or the wife would have been wanting it...she has this thing about everything matching....LOL..
I used mine for the cabin sole (floor) and only topped it with one coat of marine semi-gloss varnish. It's lasted 4 years and is not slippery when you walk on it with wet feet. I'll probably recoat this year - light sand and then only one coat.
