picture update will be coming soon, i am pulling the engine Merc 233 to update the engine has any one tinkered with one of these. i'm thinking a cylinder head up date for starters like the edelbrock estreet 170 cc intake port 58cc cobustion chamber size, basicaly it's on par with a gm vortec w/fastburn combustion chambers and roller tip rockers, head changes are needed because valve seats are not hardened

You've done a great job on her, she is looking great! Boy do your photos bring back some memories of some previous projects on my F-26, also a 1975 model. The brown plaid and orange vinyl must have been a popular option back then....

how can I get my gelcoat and paint to look like that? Beautiful work, now I have a NEW new year's resolution.

My gelcoat is chalky and the paint comes off every time I wash the decks, any suggestions?

i used 3M rubbing compound and a harbor freight buffer followed by wax after

Wow! You have been busy. Great looking boat, how long have you been working on her? I also like the bench across the stern. i want to do something like that but want it to be removable.....again, nice work!! John
