Florida Panhandle

Post by rap55 »

Anybody in Pensacola / Gulf Shores or Florida Panhandle area interested in trying to put together a start-up sportfishing / sightseeing / dolphin tour etc. business? Upgrading my USCG License from 50 to 100-Ton and got an F-36 sitting in the water. King Paul along with Beacon helped us find some afordable outriggers...Thanks again Paul...Got enough saltwater rod and reels to fish 4 to 6. Twin 454`s run strong with a little over 300hrs. on them. Needs some electronics up-grades and minor repairs but will probably make a good fishing rig for small 4-6 person day charters. Anybody interested???

Thanks, Rick / F-36

your fuel is going to eat you alive. It can be done, but compared to a diesel burn that boat really moves a lot of fuel to do that. I ran a dolphin tour around here for a friend and his 64 Passenger boat could do a 3 1/2 snorkel/ dolphin trip and not use 8 gallons total per trip with 64 people on board. with a 6 pack, its all about the numbers and your base will be high with that. Good luck....
A ship in a harbor is safe.... But that's not what ships were built for
