it's a sign of our times, kind of depressing.

isn't naming a boat "Minnow" kind of like naming it "Titanic"?

I've heard of this boat before, it used to take people out sight seeing. I think the trip was about 3 hours long. Very high profile stuff, millionares types and the Hollywood crowd. There was a rumor that she was lost in a huge storm years ago, guess not.

Note- as you can tell, slow day at work

A 3-hour tour with Mary Ann might be enough to encourage anyone to name their boat "Minnow" ...

Is this year the first year for fiberglass?

Is this FRP? Fiberglass wrapped Plywood?

FRP stands for fiber reinforced plastic in the auto industry. Never seen it used to denote fiber wrapped plywood.

Not sure what the hull is made of.

If it really is a '70, this is probably the first year for 'glass in this model (my father had a 28' built in '69 and it was all wood). Expect glass hull, but wood decks and cockpit (teak over marine ply over wood framing). Don't know if they still used wood for ribs at this point as well.
