Hey Foofer, a while back, I saw some pics of your cockpit, I think from your sales page, remember, when you had that temporary insanity? Anyway, I noticed the two panels to port and stbd just below the wheel, I love that arrangement and was wondering if you could tell me the dimensions, Cant get at my boat to measure on account of the 3 feet of snow here. Thanks.

hey 'muskokan345'--- is this the area that i think it is? roughly 1.5 hrs north of toronto? if it is, man does your area bring back memories. i know, i have a mind like a steel trap. you see, my dad grew up in TO (actually in downsview) and when we were kids, mom and dad and all of us would pack up the 1967 pontiac bonneville station wagon and head to toronto for passover with the family. in 1967, we made two trips... one in the spring, and one in the late summer. on that occasion, we hitched out then 19' sears runabout (bubala 1) to the back of the bonneville and went to lake muskoka for two weeks. i even remember the lodge we stayed at... the old cedarwood lodge where we kept the boat at the marina. i even remember attempting to swim in the lake. i could not believe how cold that water was. ('shrinkage' does not even describe that water temperature)
thanks for jogging my memory of the beginning of the bocknek boating legacy.

Aaronbocknek, You got it, I have been up here for 10 years now, relocated from Hamilton, just west of Toronto. Spent the first 2 years without a boat, ouch!, Well sort of, my 30' Pacemaker Sportfisherman was still in Hamilton, on Lake Ontario(too big for the Muskoka Lakes) then I bought a 23' Chris Craft Scorpion, great boat, perfect for here. Thre years ago, I bought my '86 Trojan F27, it was located on the Trent-Severn Waterway, on Lake Simcoe, I moved her to Sparrow Lake, Lauderdale Marina, which was just taken over by new owners. I enjoy the Trent more than Muskoka Lakes, a short run and I'm in Georgian Bay or the other way to Lake Simcoe. I enjoy just putttin' around, like I always say, "there's no better time waster than messin' around on boats!' Don't think I'd like being back on Lake Ontario now, different type of boating, no little abays to anchor out in, don't get me wrong, the 10 or so years I spent on Lake Ontario, I did love it, lust a different type of boating, more destination type.
