my motor is a 235 hp fresh water cooled, motor im buying is a 225 hp raw water. any concerns? will my fresh water system bolt up or am i now looking for an aftermarket system?

Are you buying a LM318 ? if so you should be ok

If you want to be absolutely certain regarding 225 vs 235 call the tech up at Marysville Marine as they are what was once Chrysler Marine and have the most knowledge. As best I can find using the net it is a 318 but have no idea where the extra 10 HP comes from. Could be jetting, cam, compression ration?

Jeff, make sure the the engine you are looking at will fit in the boat. On my 26 I had to Change the manifolds and intake because the new engine sat 2 inches above the deck!
