I use Zinc paint..for $20.00 you can't beat it,

we're on a boatlift so we use ablative bottom paint on everything BUT the nibral props which remain bare assed naked!

Once in a while we will polish them with 600 sandpaper.

Yep...wears off the prop quickly though. A couple of friends use "prop speed" with good results.

I guess you wouldn't have to worry about barnacles on a trailer. :)

Just talked to a friend to day that just haule his Viking . Prop speed on props and one shaft but zinc coat on the other shaft . The zinc coat did better . We both feel that the prop speed still is better on the props as the growth will be flung off the props and not the shafts .
