This was talked about on the old Regal forum a couple of years ago. The guy who did it used PCV and drilled a anti-siphon hole in it. From what I recall he said it worked great.
2) many engines have under water exhaust with out issues . also put a relief hole at the 90 ( 1/4" or so ) won't make much noise and a good way to check water flow . and its a siphon break too
3) I did but its still worth saying again for others benefit too ( safety first )

but wasn't that a rear exit under the swim platform...? and used underway ? but that in mind I should be all right,
now to figure out a ez way to install and remove it, and putting it in every anchor set no is biggy have to do poop runs at least twice a day.
as far as anti-siphon goes would I need that since I'll not be using this underway ? and the elbow will a 45..
