no power help
the 120vlt system quit working today..the guy working on the outside sanding plugged a cord into the kitchen electric socket and ran a sander on it.i have power on the cord coming from shore , but nothing at the main breakers......has this happenned to anyone else?
the big toggle for the shore , off , gen is on shore like always
the breakers are all ok , i just dont get it.
i'm in the dark here.......literally.....

If your system is like mine, there may be a polarity breaker near the breaker panel. I hate to nitpick, but boats don't have "Kitchens". Galley is the proper term.

110v gremlins on your side, 12v on mine. a perfect team.signman wrote:well when i left the shop last night there was no power as i stated....i unplugged everything and this morning i plugged the shore power cord in and reset the breakers and wala power....i dont get it!
did you reset the main breaker dockside? also, there was a 50a breaker on the forward bulkhead in the bilge on my 32, but that was for the genset, and then wired to the main panel.
