 LOOK at that pic . blue skies , sun shining and work progressing nicely..... and I look outside here and see my boat under a big blue tarp with snow and cold surrounding it. closest I came to working on her was last month when I almost slid my truck into the bow due to the icerink of a driveway I had.

280GE Larry. What doesn't fit in it goes on it. Not to mention you can put a .30 cal on the roof. ;)

Commie,

That's not a truck that is an SUV or as we in the police profession call an urban assault vehicle.

If I were to visit jeff would use my Super Duty F350 Diesel(no duals), might find something else worth hauling. :D

So i started to break down the motor to make it lighter for removal. Right side riser has new gaskets but 2 bolts only half way threaded, left side every bolt is rounded off so I will have to pull motor almost whole. Prop shaft and transmission bolts are so rusted I will have to cut the heads off. I pulled the distributor out and found 1 small tree twig and 3 leaves in the gears, I really don't know what to say about that, but it was there. The entire electronic system through out the boat is melted. I'm about 1 week from working with a clean slate. Ready to stop getting gas, oil, clorax bleach dirty.....

Jeff, if there is enough room you may be albe to take the whole exhaust log off, the Studs are stainless and may come off easily. If they twist off, doesnt really matter as old engine trashed.
