Tom - I just PM'd you about the transom piece. I had your email address from last year but lost years worth of email.

gardnersf wrote:I called them today. Their site had just crashed and they didn't know why. I called the guy in Chicago about the wetbar. he is going to get a shipping quote. It may not be too bad as it would go as freight. Now I just need to be sure I want to go that direction. :)

my guess is if you bought all the materials, a stainless bar sink, hinges, cabinet pulls, wiring (use marine grade 120 v STRANDED here) a sheet of formica and bought a new router you would still be cheaper than the shipping

The big cost issue will be the U-line fridge/icemaker. I replaced mine in 2008 or 2009 and it was about $1,100.00

I also keep a tremendous amount of stuff in that wetbar and it is damn convenient too.

The only problem I can see is how to make the curved corners ?

Otherwise building a new one should be a breeze.

Scott, the guy that has the 11m w/ the hardtop on craigslist on Long Island had a wetbar last summer. He was asking $1,000 which was way too high and I doubt he sold it. Might be able to save the shipping.

It's the one for $50k and listed all the time.

I have the wet bar with the fridge and ice maker and use it all the time, When we vacation on the boat we can keep extra frozen stuff in the ice maker bin, works great. We always have that fridge loaded with drinks and mixers.

Scott,
Just ordered a bunch of different colored samples of vinyl. Thinking about going pleated white for the coaming pads. I'll post some pics as I get them in.

Mike,
That looks great. I like how you did the piping on the seats, very nice touch! Is that the pleated vinyl that has the "heat welded" pleats? It looks like stiched pleats from the pics.

It is heat treated pleats, I left the design up to S S canvas in middle river told him to give it a modern look and do what he wanted. I think it turned out great.

They did a great job. I really like the work on the helm seats. I just googled them. they're only about an hour and a half from me. Think I will be giving them a call as I get a little closer on my project.

That looks really nice.

I am going with all white on the cusions. I found a different canvas guy to recover the helm chairs which saved some $. I will be going White\Lt.Grey\White on the coamings. I'm also replacing the vinyl under the radar arch with white.

Teh white is actually slightly off white Nautolex.
