1976' Trojan F-32 Sedan - Looking for anchor replacement

Hello at all again from Germany.

Today I have been back aboard to have a look at the boat.
The cover in front was filled up with water like a bathtub and below the deck was green and wet. I flushed thees gallons to the ground to reach our anchor attachment.

We are missing our anchor since we've got the boat. Now I'm looking for an replacement and hope somebody of yours will have theanswer.

I do not look for any better replacement than the original. I just want to know what exactly will fit in this attachement and maybe where to buy

You need a Danford anchor.

Thanks prowlerfish, but I do not have the mesurements from that anchor - just from attachement.
Do you really know that this must be an Danforth - e.g. Nancy's F-32 was equipped with an 32 lbs Bruce.

Deffinately a Danforth or a Danforth spin-off. Messure from the right of your picture to the two pieces in the middle. It may also help to measure the distance from the centre of one centre piece to the centre of the other.

Hello BigD, thanks for your answer. Now I also found some eBay-adds with Danforth anchor chocks looking like ours

OK - it IS an Danforth ! Unfortunately I can not measure it again cause I'm back at home.
Total lenght from left chock screw to right chock center hole is 25" Inches.

Who of yours has a F-32 whit this original anchor chocks and can tell me the Danforth-type

i removed my toe stubbers on the deck and put on a bow pulpit. whatever you do you should take those off and make sure that you check the deck around them for rot and if you reinstall make sure you rebed them. also if you havent, take your hawse pipe out and do the same. and anything else on the deck for that matter. balsa core and water not a good combintion

Hello G36 - don't worry about it, it was just a small wetness under that cover.

Back to topic: here is another pic of the anchor chocks:

I do not know, what kind of Danforth anchor was here before ...

Our local dealer can order any type of anchors, but I want to know in advance what size and type.

maybe you misunderstood what i stated earlier. this is something i would diffentley worry about. if you have not removed and rebedded the hardware on your deck example the anchor chocks ,hawse pipe, cleats, the anchor pulpit and any other holes you have in the deck. you are asking for problems later down the road or you may already have problems you dont know about. the areas around all of these pentrations should be checked and i suggest you remove all of the hardware and recaulk(rebed) them so that water wont find a way into the decking material(balsa core). if you have done this since you have owned your boat then great. if you havent i would suggest it strongly that you do. the anchor chocks,and the hawse pipe on mine had no sealent . my 78 f32 has been in a covered slip most all of her life so rain isnt a problem however there was still rot at these places. just trying to be helpful.

Anyone know where I can find replacement anchor brackets? I am missing one of the toe stubbers pictured in the pics the gentlement posted.

And thanks for the tips regarding rebedding. I get a lot of water on my bow from waves - I should reseal them thingys.

I have a set of anchor chocks on my 1978 F32. You are welcome to them when I take them off if you want to pay the shipping. I will be taking them off the last week in April. I assume that they are the same as what you had.

Hey I know its funny we call them toe stubbers. . .

I stubbed my toe many many a times but I am now missing one of them anchor things.

Dad was not an anchoring type but I am. I will be anchored many many times right off my condo so late at night when the chicago life guards are off duty I swim ashore and take care of my pet a/k/a eighteen year old pussy!!!! Gas?? Pet sitter???? I can swim ashore and feed the old feeble one. . . No way is she trojan worthy!!!

But I have a custom made swim platform on order from florida to be installed in 2012 2013 winter. . .

My marina. . . They charge for pulpits and platforms. . . Pretty soon I'm in a 40 foot slip with an F30.

So one of u trojan people should sell me one of the missing toe stubbers for five bucks since u all have pulpits and fancy wenches and yadda yadda

Btw they weren't bolt thru were they??? I hope not

i can look and see if i have the ones i took off. its been 3 yrs ago since i removed them. they were not bolted through on my f32 just screwed down to the deck.
