Battery Charger Location

Post by aleme »

Hi Everyone
I just purchased a 1982 F23 about 2 months ago and trying to up date some things. The one thing I needed was a battery charger and I just got it , but I’m not sure were to mount it ? Can it be mounted in the engine compartment on one of the bulkheads ? If any one out there has an f32 were is yours mounted ? your help would be greatly appreciated .

If you purchased a marine rated battery charger it can be mounted in the engine compartment. If it is not marine rated then leave it on shore. Mine in my F-32 is mounted on the rear engine compartment bulkhead right between the engines

NO,NO,NO. mount the charger in the salon starboard side aft behind the last sliding door that way it has ventalation (panel open) & no moisture. Pictures can be supplied. If the chager has a built in meter u can monitor what the batteries are getting.
