distributor issues

yea the guy said the part i brought him looks familiar but without the ols books he couldnt help me. oh well ill keep looking. or find one of those pullers to borrow or rent. i will be checking around town on monday for one of those.

Sounds more to me like the guy is computer illiterate and is passing the buck instead of doing his job on customer service.
I can't count how many times have I been in a store, the person says it isn't in stock, or they don't have it, just for me to find it myself.
Lazy employees that don't want to put in the extra effort.

i went and got a puller kit today. i will try to pull my spare out tomorrow, let me know and I will just mail it to you if it comes out ok. its soaking now

thanks for the offer. the manufacturer just got back with me and said yes he is sorry the bushing wasnt installed and is sending me one. will i need a special tool to press it in?

There are bushing insertion tools but a punch or anything else wide enough and flat will do the job. A light tap at first to start it, and make sure it's going in straight, a thin coat of grease will help, then lightly tap away until it bottoms out. You hear/feel when that happens.

Usualy a piece of wood with a squared surface on one end will work with easy taps.
