:lol: D , yea I know Paul. Heck with it, im glad I asked, Im going to do a repair I respect the answers and feel safe, It looks like an impornant peice to me. let see how my new bulk head and deck turns out!! if I fail then worst is I replace thwe whole B&!ch.

You're right Jeff, it is a very important piece structurally. Based on what you said you found wrong with just a small bad section up top, I would repair. If you went on to describe a much worse condition, then ya, I'd replace too. Just make sure your diagnosis is correct all around. Check the entire bulkhead. If it has to go, now is the time to do it.
