RUB RAIL for 1978 F-30

Post by lawyerdave71 »

I am looking to replace a 4 foot section of rub rail - well not looking - I need to replace it as 22 inches got bent in a gail last September on Lake Michigan.

And Yes, I have contacted Beacon Marine.

Remember - cheap cheap cheap - no one compliments you on how good your rub rails looks!!!!!!!

BTW, love your signature line. I'm thinking of my own variation... "working hard to put money into lawyer's pockets, so he can pour money in the endless hole that floats!!!!"

Check local marinas for old boats that have been on the hard for years. You may be able to score a piece. Chris Craft, Pacemaker, Owens and other boats of the era have the same s/s rub rail. The problem with new is the cost, particularly when you have to buy a minimum length.
