Dixie Craft Trailer
Odd question: I purchased a 2006 Sea Doo over the winter which came with a 2006 Dixie Craft Trailer. My problem: I am trying to register the trailer and in PA you need the unladen weight which is not on the trailer tag. I have tried to reach out to the company but the number is not in use any longer. I purchased the ski from an individual and he does not know. Any one have this type of trailer that could help in anyway? Any thought would be appreciated.

Take it to a truck stop with a Cat Scale & weigh just the trailer. Then take your scale slip to DMV to prove the weight.

You will have to have take the empty trailer to any scale that prints out a weight ticket or have the scale masters # if slip is hand written then fill out form MV 41 that you can print off Pa dot website and have it signed by a state inspection mechanic or police officer. If the trailer is out of state or never registerd you may have to go to a enhanced inspection station and fill out a form MV 426 form which is a little more complicated. If you need to do the enhanced inspection PM me we do this at my shop and I can tell you everything you will need to make it less of a hassle.
