Dang thing bugged me, too. But new ones are so $$$, and it's not like it gets a lot of use here. But it's hard to rip out something that's working and kinda cool and might actually be useful once in a while. At least it is for me! It's your problem now! lol!
I'm still shaking my head over that truck. I know there's a hill between the ferry landing and town. How did that work? I would have been scared $hitless to drive the truck. Bad enough pulling *up* an incline...what happens when the tail decides to wag the dog??
Its 220 feet of elevation gain from the Ti ferry landing to the ramp at Mossy Point on LG. About half of that is coming up 74 past the fort into town and the other half is going up the hill to Black Point Rd. The scariest part was getting it up the ramp at the ferry landing. Its steep as hell there and I really had to goose it up on the trailer so we could get hauled. We were going pretty slow over the road and as you can see in the photos we hogged both lanes. As it turns out the owner of the hauling company has a sister ship 1978 F32. They apparently have some experience hauling this model.

There are 350 different varieties of shark, not counting loan or pool.
I know that ramp! I didn't realize you were hauling onto a trailer, not a travelift and then transferring. OMG, I bet you were checking your memory twenty times to be sure you'd called the insurance company. Nothing like making your little heart go thumpity-thump.

+1000 Microwave ovens were called "Radar Ranges" when they first were introduced because they use radar waves to cook the food. I would strongly advise against using the radar when driving from the flybridge.

Both use a magnetron to generate microwaves. Newer high end digital units have moved way from that. Not a good spot for a dome. Also don't like the installs on radar arches that aren't set properly and fry your brain when you're at the helm. And they thought the loss of brain cells was from drinking too much
