Operation control levers

Post by jefflaw35 »

Is it possible to convert my Trojan to a single lever control system like my ski boat has? Assuming cables may have to be custom made. I would like to move it the side of the helm. Does this sound stupid crazy?

And anyone wanting to ditch thier pre-'78 lower station OEM dual controls should PM me. I would hate for you to have to suffer with POS Neanderthal age stock equipment, so please let me buy it from you.

Sorry for the hijack Jeff. I owe you one. ;)

What I am looking forare OE lower station controls for a twin engine F series with wooden handles Jeff. In '78 they switched to plastic balls. Just not as classy as the flush mount controls with the wooden handles on those lower stations IMO. My biggest disappointment in having to by a '78. :( lol. At least it still had the oven and the mechanical crank vent window. Otherwise it was a no deal. lolol

No, like cook a goose or a duck oven. Lucky you can get both a 28 guage and a 20 guage in the fwd locker without wrinkling your clothes. ;) Oven not big enuff for a turkey.. :( Lazy man fish, drink beer, run generator for coffee and dinner.. ;) * [*Then its ok if you suk at fishing, you still eat]

Def on the lookout for '77 or earlier F32/36 lower sation controls tho......
