Okey, fellow Trojan ears,
I have a 1976 E26 as you all know, was it a practice of Trojan manufacturing to not install cleats mid ship? With out them how does one use a spring line proper, I prefer to be mid ship and drop the line over the dock cleat to pull the boat in starboard. Going port, I don’t need anything, I can put the boat anywhere

mid cleat
Can't really be done. Bout all you can do is run a second line from the bow through the bow chock and back to the cleat on the dock at mid ship. Only problem is if the line slips out of the chock at the bow.

Done that, don’t work, the line will pull the bow to the dock and pivet forcing the stern to swing port. Last Saturday I played with this for some time, being that I changed my slip and now need to bring her in starboard. I have installed a midship cleat and as long as you have the bow close to the dock drop that line and the boat will slip right in .
