well thats what these are, starting/deep cycle, i just think that having 6 batteries onboard is a bit much? specially with no place to place them, i mean i can always get one of those huge bateries that has 6 terminals on it but stilll, no place anywhere for them

Not really. It's directly proportional to your style of boating and load requirements. But you're right, in the end space dictates the amount of compromise one needs to make compared to the best way to go.
