Cockpit Deck Lighting - LED versus ??????

Post by lawyerdave71 »

I am not good with wiring or electrical.

And lately, my electrician - he is a drunk - he is an embarrassement to have at the marina.

And I don't like drilling holes on a boat - period.

So I came up with a cheap solution - the charlie has perko rod holders in the stern and the local dollar store had those solar powered garden lights on pole . . . well i bought 20 of them and now I have ample cockpit lighting and no wires!!! And its the dollar store - it cost me 20 dollars!!!

U just stick them in the rod holders and presto - there is light at night!!!

Now the stereo situation - I think I am close to an electrician free situation - details to follow!!

Dave. I like your solution. Intelligent, and practical.

However I might mention, that the third P of marketing is Placement, and as such, you as a lawyer might want to tear a page from the B School book and move your practice a little further uptown. Then perhaps you can put that first P in marketing, Price, more completely in your corner, and get yourself a good marine electrician on the team. :)
