I think that the accumulation of the ice from the hail would have blocked the scuppers temporarily until it melted and allowed the water to flow. You can still see some pieces of ice on the deck.

I don't think that's the problem. I don't see any scuppers, or any access to any.
Heiner - I think you need to do something to improve cockpit draining, or all that water is going in to the bilge.
Install scuppers.... drains, one in each aft corner of the deck that take water away using hoses and out through holes in the transom that are several inches above the water line.
Best picture I have:
In back left corner of picture you can see the lowered area with a screen that is the scupper and the hose below that takes the water out through the transom. It only needs to be lower than the scupper to encourage water flow out of the boat.
Note the channel running along back wall of the transom to direct water from the aft center of the deck to the scupper. There is a scupper in each aft corner of the deck.
NOTE: the hatches in the deck need to be well sealed so water only flows to the scuppers otherwise you are defeating the purpose by letting water into the bilge..... which can sink the boat on a bilge pump failure.
P.S. Before anyone asks those electrical twist connectors are long gone.

prior to the aft deck redesign in 1977, the f-32 did not have the fiberglass aft deck liner and scuppers and drain channels. the aft deck drained from , a drainage channel right behind the transom liner and through 3 brass ringed holes in the transom. (this set up was used from inception, 1972, until the 1977 model year)
the original tri cabin used this too from 1972 until 1977, when the flush deck version was brought to market. heiner could probably install flush scuppers in the far starboard and far port corners and have them drain overboard via hoses and through hulls.

So are you saying he may have these behind the transom liner in his photos and just need to open them up to his teak decking?

One observation: I'm sure his transom mounted scuppers are still in place, but the bottom edge of the cockpit liner along the transom in the photos is mounted hard against the cockpit sole. The transom liner's top edge is supposed to fit into a coorsponding slot behind the cockpit combing which results in the bottom edge of the liner being 1/2" or so above the cockpit sole. This allows water to access the drainage channel behind. Also note that by design that there is no teak trim along the transom liner's bottom edge for this reason.

I think they would be above. Seem Trojan did the F-25 the same way. I have 3 3/4 inch holes on deck belly through transom. They are all rotted through. They were not under my decking but above. I dont see how they could have drained well. I am installing real drains this time. thinking about under the swim deck so I dont interfere with the boat name
