I may be wrong Heiner. Mine sit above the deck, and drain through the transom, caused my transom deck support to rot.

Thanks for your quick response - Jeff :D

Our vessel has these 3 drains too:

Now I have to find out, where they come from. In fact - the middle one is
just to drain the hatch - thats for sure.

The lower middle yes, but the upper should be for the deck. I dont understand why they didnt make the holes bigger. They clog up to easy.

My 1974 F36 has scuppers but they drain to the cockpit bilge!
Really a bad design. Need to change to thru-hull....this winter.

after looking again and listening to you guys, I think was designed to do the same, I dont see why though. Im going to run larger piping thro the transom to my deck so this never happens again. I agree, poor design and why such little holes?

The aft wall should stop about 1" above the deck. There should be a tray that is about 1/2" lower that runs along the aft wall where those brass scupper holes are. My try-cabin has this and it works perfectly.

See in this old picture of my deck, only one i could find with the aft image.

"KNOW HOW" means to have friends like you all, they have knowledges about Trojan's

And yes, you were right. Today I moved that panel out - and 'here we are' scuppers said :?

Clogged with old leaves and maple seeds:

The middle one is also present:

Will make that hole a little bit wider:

I flooded the deck again - and all the water was flushing out as expected.

Will work at the panel too, to clean the scuppers more easy.
