restoring 1979 trojan 321 flybridge.....no gas guage reading???

Does the gas gauge move to below E when the ingition is turned off? If not, the gauge is broken and will need to be replaced. If the needle moves and you can get to the back of the gauge, use a wire to connect the sender post to the ground post. The needle should move to F. If not, the guage is broken and will need to be replaced. Do not connect the sender post to the ignition post because this will damage your sender.

If the gauge is working, you will need to look at your senders and wiring to figure out what is wrong.
