Cruisair stopped working
I woke up this morning with no power. My Cruisair popped the breaker sometime during the night. I thought my wife might have turned it off but when I tried to turn the run/start knob it was frozen. It ran like a champ for the last 3 100 degree days. Hoping it's just the switch but would like suggestions on what else to look for. The switch did smell burnt but realize I should for a cause also.

I had to replace the water pump on my A/C unit yesterday. Ran shore water into the supply hose for the unit. With the motor disconnected the system thought all was normal with good water flow so I was able to replace the pump and a lot of bad hose runs from the PO in cool comfort.

I have a unit that does that been unable to find reason... conclusion is that it may be the compressor over pressure safety and that cleaning the cooling coils with CLR might work.
As both A/C units use one pump it tends to shut the whole system down... my A/C's are on a second 30A leg with the Icemaker & TV, luckily only the two a/C breakers go and no loss of ice.
I back flushed the cooling lines with shore water which has helped reduce the frequency.... oddly seems to happen at 4am and not during the day.
Have you compared the cooling water outflow temp vs inlet temp? What kind of temp rise do you get?

In adition to condensing water flow issues Check running amps using a measuring instrument around either power or neutral wire if 110 volt and read amps. A bad run capacitor could also cause over amping and nuisence tripping of breakers. Short cycling will also cause over amping which occurrs when the compressor is off then back on before pressures in system equalize.
