1973 sport fish 30 questions

Post by classicf25 »

Does anyone know the draft of the 1973 Sportfish 30'? I think it is a clean machine and any info would be helpful. Has twin chrysler 318's in her. Any performance data available?
Thanks

Try a search.... I recall the guys posting an original spec sheet that showed this for several model Trojans.

I will look too.

1990 17 ft Sea Nymph - 70 Johnson
1992 17 Tracker Deep-V - 40 Yamaha (still own)

My Clean Machine has Velvet drives, 1:1. 10,000 lbs. I have done 30mph at WOT, 22mph @3000 (GPS), turning 14X11's cupped. I think the draft is about 3ft.

Thank you. Surprised the draft is less than my F25. Was considering picking up F30 Sport Cruiser locally if the price is right. Kind of worried about the difference in fuel consumption but sure has a nice layout!

That 1" wider beam is the diff - might be shallower deadrise as well. The F32 has very low deadrise in the rear.
