hull changes to 72 sea raider

Post by tunatamer »

I'm in the process of getting ready to make some major alterations to my 72 sea raider. Some of the changes will be the addition of a Carolina flare to the bow. Possibly a little tumble in the stern. I'm also going to increase the deadrise in the boat adding a deeper draft and improving the sea keeping of the vessel in a steep chop. Any ideas would be great. Any one ever done this or seem this before on a Trojan. Would love all of ur opinions

Better finding a hull that fits your needs then to try and change something its not into something it was never ment to be .

Did I read that right, you want to change the deadrise? What did you do at rampage?

I'm not mad. Not sure why that comment not scared posted so much. I worked all over that plant from molds to custom glass additions to engines. I worked alot on the cockpit area. IV customized and reenginered other boats in the past. I will probably go for the classic cruiser/sportfish look of the 20's and 30's. Should be exciting :-)
