Need to replace the sending units on the tanks. Has any one done this?
Looks like I have to cut out the deck to access and install deck plates.
Checked both gauges they are working, any better sending units availible?

I've removed the pick up tubes on my mid cabin without doing anything special. I know the location is farther aft and not sure if that makes a difference. I also don't know how long the sending units are, shorter than the pick up tubes I would imagine.
I would be more inclined to make the existing deck plate behind the wetbar or bench a lot bigger since it's not structural and covered when done. With a 10-12" plate maybe you can reach down and remove it OR simply add another one.
I would explore these options first before cutting into the deck. And as I'm typing this, I think there's only about 5-6" inches of deck space anyway after the outside engine hatch is removed.
