F32 Flybridge removal

F32 Flybridge removal
Anyone have any experience with removing a flybridge from a 1976 Trojan F32 for shipping? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!

I've done it on a 1974 f-32. It's quite a bit of work and you'll need at least 4 very strong guys (or more) or a crane to get it off the boat.
The worst part of the job is unhooking all the wires (and labeling them), disconecting the steering, throttle and tranny controls as well as any electronics transducers etc that run down. Once thats all clear, then you still have to remove the seat, main instrument/steering console and the rear railings and ladder.
Then you can start on the actual bridge surround. That involves removing the interior panels and all the screws inside, then removing the perimeter screws (many will likely be stripped or barely holding). Then you can pull the top (hopefully if none of the previuos owners haven't bedded it dwon with 5200).
It's not terribly difficult, just very time consuming and awkward to physically move.

that's what i was thinking and afraid of. i figure the more they took their time and did it the proper way it would probably double in cost.
well, looks like i'll be loading up the car with the tool box. if anyone out there has ANY tips or pearls i'm all ears!!!

It may depend on your states rules. My F32 sat at 11'9" on the trailer without the flybridge.
