I WONDER WHY TROJAN NEVER MADE THIS IN GLASS

i was doing some research and i found this 1968 38' sea voyager. if you look at the layout of the salon, it's similar to the tri cabin. i wonder why trojan never transferred this design into glass. i bet it would have been popular.

Well , you have the F36 tri and this boat was only 2 more feet and the F40 I am sure was on the drawing board so there was really no need for it . or the F40 was its replacement That would be my guess .

good point paul. never thought of that. if i had 4 foot itis, this is the one i'd have my eye on...... this one, i could live on. but, then again, maccabee requires his yard to guard and race around in.

Make sure there is enough non-skid down and maccabee can race around the outer deck bow to stern and protect the boat from the geese and ducks!

They didn't need the 38 or 42 because they made the 44 flush deck.

he's not so much the racing dog when there are not any bulwarks to keep him safe. there is a friend of mine at parkside that has a mainship 390, and maccabee goes from one end of eds boat to the other and up to the fly bridge on the molded steps. he loves that boat because he can run around and not feel like he's going into the drink. when he's on the tri cabin, he hugs the cabin side, but,he has done the 'great loop' on the decks a few times.

Really like the F 40 lay out, but the aft hatch would need moved to the stern to keep the deck clear.

maybe if the table is high enough and can be easily moved aside during an emergency evacuation. (okay, flight attendant talk) just don't affix it to the deck. i've seen many a sliverton, chris craft, and hatteras with tables over the aft escape door. carver, if i remember correctly, installs the aft escape hatch on the transom right? for this reason? how would it work if the escaping person was larger than the hatch? i'm curious about that one, as some of the hatches i've seen are not that large for a larger than normal person to affect egress.

Most I've seen on the stern are 22 x 22 and I'd have to say if you can't fit thru the egress hatch then one needs to start on slim fast....

i know some of our flight attendants would never pass that test..... heck, i've got a 28" waist and i even get wracked when walking down the aisle from time to time.
