I'm well ahead of myself again as I should be worrying about how to ge tthe rest of the water out of my bilge rather than what I will do when I have to refit the cabin but...
How about it? Has anyone remodeled the cabin of their Trojan from stock? How much leeway do you have with the weight? I've contemplated tiling the head and making it to where I could install a shower but I'm concerned about adding that much weight (the tile and the additional balast to balance it).
Other projects are laminate floors in the cabin and planked decking.

My advice is to focus on the basics first. Get her seaworthy and running first, only then worry about the cosmetics. I've never seen a boat with tile in the head. Then again a quick Google search turned this up on a Hinkley ...
Forward starboard is an ensuite Owner's Head finished in white with tile floor.
Of course that's a 49 ft sailing yacht with a 38,000 lb displacement.

I don't know about yours but my bathroom barely has enough room for your feet when you sit on the head so that little bit of tile wouldn't make much of a difference I wouldn't think, but personally I am going with Hardwood flooring to go with the rest of the boat. Tile just wouldn't fit in with the style of my interior but still a good idea.
