cabin lights

changing cabin lights on my 321 1979 trojan ....took down 2 bulb light over table that worked and try to replace it with red / white floresent fixure red / black to black/white wire...black to ground/red to white ....nothing....maybe the other way around...16w 12v fixture

i had the same issue while changing my lights out, permanently they were wired on a relay mode, as in if one of them doesn't have the connection the next one in line wouldn't have one either, so if you removed more then one fixture at a time anything down the line wouldn't get electricity....

just my experience...
