Incredible.

We'll have a full afternoon and evening to go over the boat and see what we might be able to do before departing. Broker indicated that he had a good selection of spare parts on board (including impellers, belts, plugs) so we'll have to see. We're bringing some tools along just in case.

How long does an impeller change take roughly?
for assistance on the water how about these guys?

impeller on your boat allow about an hour, as I recall on the original you have to pull the drive belt and the entire housing, on mine I was advised the housing gets worn inside and pump does not work as well as it could, for an extra 50 bucks I replaced my housing and it comes with a removable faceplate which expedites the impeller change.

SHUT OFF SEACOCK BEFORE ATTEMPING IMPELLER CHANGE :D

Best $58 peace of mind I can think of.

Thanks for the suggestion, Paul. As it turns out, my brother suggested it to my wife last night around the time I was reading your post with that very suggestion.
